To all of you who have inputted into this so far, we would like to say a massive ‘thank you’.  It has given us some great information to work with and we really appreciate the time you took to do this.

We have listened to what you said

As part of our commitment to providing you the best possible RiO experience, we are doing the following:

1. Making RiO easier to use 
  • A series of consultation groups with front line clinical staff from across services to identify how to make RiO better for you
  • A rolling programme of information sessions for everyone, via Microsoft Teams, to support your use of RiO
2. Communication
  • A How to... page (this page) has been developed to easily share Top Tips and developments to support you in your use of RiO
  • This page will include a link to reviewed and updated training guides
  • Key Users Groups to be reviewed to ensure your voice continues to be heard in future developments of RiO
  • Feeding back the challenges about staying updated on a system in busy clinical roles will be incorporated into the IM&T role

Risk Summary

The Risk Summary form has been updated in line with our Suicide Prevention Strategy. Risk ratings of Low, Medium and High are no longer required, and so have been removed.

Staff are required to complete the final Formulation section of the form which should reflect consideration of the 5 Ps framework.   

Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale (BPRS) - Assessment Form

You said - the BPRS Assessment Form did not enable staff to record objective/contextual information and that having an area for staff to add comments would be beneficial. 

We have - now added comment boxes under each symptom rating for staff to record any comments which enhance the BPRS.

You Said:  Couldn’t book non face-to-face activity in the diary

 

RiO:  It can be done in daily & weekly view

 

Examples of non-clinical activity would be:

  • Clinic prep - preparing clinic room for depot clinic / therapy room for groups / reading notes before appointment
  • Record keeping - writing notes / assessment reports / social circumstances reports.
